Reporting Lost Time

When to notify us

Please contact Spooner MAI when any of the following occur:

• The worker fails to resume work following the injury
• The worker returns but is subsequently removed from work by the physician
• The worker resumes duties with imposed restrictions
• Work restrictions are prolonged
• The worker encounters injury-related complications after resuming work

Report the actual return-to-work date

Always provide the actual return-to-work date — even if the injured worker missed fewer than seven days. This is a regulatory requirement and is essential to accurately documenting lost work time.
